Banksy Finally Speaks On Brexit With Mural In Dover

Banksy Has Claimed Responsibility For Mysterious Dover-Based Mural.

The piece which mysteriously appeared on a building beside the A20, near Dover’s ferry terminal — features the artist’s signature stencil work. It depicts a worker chiseling out one of the twelve stars on the European Union flag.

According to The Independent, Banksy’s representatives pointed them to his instagram which contained photos of the work.

The Graffiti comes at a contentious time for European politics, the UK  will be having a snap general election which will dictate which direction Brexit negotiations will go in.

This is the Bristol-based artist’s most recent project. His last major project was a  Bethlehem-based hotel that’s decorated like English gentlemen’s club. The hotel marked Banksy’s first major installation since Dismaland, the temporary theme park that appeared in 2015 at Weston-super-Mare.
