Yacht Of The Week: Dare To Dream.

Monaco-based artist George Lucian has introduced his latest design – 140m Superyacht Airship Carrier Concept Dare to Dream.

The Yacht’s name is very apt, as this yacht is the manifestation of dreams.

The concept is for the rich yacht and private jet owner who wants to combine two of their favorite modes of transports into one. The owner could spend a couple of days flying above the Mediterranean waters, before finally returning, to dock the airship on his superyacht.

Dare to dream yacht

The concept is designed in a way that even though the yacht would offer plenty of amenities the airship itself can also house guests and can be used to host banquets, dinners and parties. The airship is expected to be around 100m, whilst the yacht would measure 140m.

My concept is inspired from the yachting industry and military vessels design, but also from the fascination that I have for the beginning of the century zeppelins that were transporting passengers across the Atlantic in an luxury and romantic manner. Nowadays we have lost this elegancy and tranquillity of travelling that the cruise liners and airships were offering in the beginning on the 21 century. My concept wants to give these feelings back to its future owner
