Wildest Looks From The Met Gala.

The Met Gala isn’t just another red carpet; it’s arguably the most important and influential in the world.  This year the festivities in New York were for the opening of the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion And The Catholic Imagination. At the head of that committee is US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, the most important woman in the global fashion scene.  Hence why, celebrities clamour for tickets and designers from around the world fight to dress them.

Every year, thanks to the exhibition taking place there is always a themed dress code, differing this from the generic black-tie affair most of these events are.

Some men just kept it simple, however, other fully embraced the theme and went all-out. Many had outfits with religious nods and Catholic iconography fresh from the Holy See: crosses, embroidery, capes, bright red, velvet, loafers.

Whether you are here for boundary pushing fashion or just want to look at the most dapper dinner jackets, we’ve got you covered.
